In Dublin City Schools, we believe that all students can develop into physically literate individuals who have the knowledge, skills and confidence to enjoy a lifetime of healthful physical activity.
We believe in developing students by:
● Teaching physical activity habits and skills that allow students to increase their level of confidence and skills to be active and healthy for their lifetime.
● Providing differentiated opportunities for all students.
● Promoting physical activity as a support for social-emotional wellness.
● Providing safe and inclusive environments that teach students to exhibit appropriate personal and social behavior that respects self and others.
● Promoting collaboration and teamwork among students.
● Teaching the benefits of various types of physical activities.
Physical Education provides learning opportunities for students to understand important health and goal setting skills, develop personal physical fitness levels, and participate in individual and team activities. We provide experiences for students to develop and maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.
On days students have P.E. class, they should:
Wear tennis shoes
Wear comfortable clothes to move around in
Bring a water bottle if they want to
