Dublin Jerome High School Clubs
Social Outings - Social skills outings are scheduled and driven by student interests and requests, giving students and peers an opportunity to socialize and make new friends. Evening and weekend outings are offered throughout the year. Students are given the opportunity to practice the skills learned in their social skills class at Jerome.
Lunch bunches - different organized lunch groups meet weekly during lunch at Jerome. Peers are encouraged and welcome to join.
GSA welcomes everyone and celebrates diversity! Our club strives to provide a place of community where we can form friendships, discuss issues, and share stories.
Girl Up is a girl-centered leadership development initiative, focusing on equity for girls and women in spaces where they are unheard or underrepresented.Through activities like fundraising and storytelling, we wish to raise awareness towards the various issues that girls continue to face.
Hope Squad is a peer to peer suicide prevention and awareness program. Hope Squad is a research-based, highly effective way to raise awareness, reduce stigma and empower our students to assist their peers in getting to the help they need when in crisis. Hope Squad Team members do not take on the role of counselor or therapist, but rather serve as a point person for students in crisis to get to the adult help that they need.
The purpose of the club is to increase mental health awareness, discuss mental health topics, and share and practice mental health tools, through fun activities such as crafts, yoga, listening to music and dancing. Club members meet to express themselves and listen to others in a welcoming club environment.
Morgan’s Message® strives to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health within the student-athlete community and equalize the treatment of physical and mental health in athletics. We aim to expand the dialogue on mental health by normalizing conversations, empowering those who suffer in silence, and supporting those who feel alone.
Teen Institute is a club dedicated to promoting a fun substance free high school experience in a judgment -free community. We have events and activities that promote mental wellness in a supportive and friendly environment. We are dedicated to bringing awareness and educating others about the benefits of being substance free. We have monthly meetings alternating before and after school. All students are welcome to attend! We communicate through Remind and Instagram.
