Math Picture Books

Literacy Connections to Mathematics

Establishing reading routines at home has been shown to lead to future reading success; why not infuse some math into that daily routine? Reading picture books containing math or about math are a great way to engage your child in conversations about math at home. And, the more experiences your child has to play with math and problem-solve in a low-stress environment, the more they’ll enjoy it! Help extend the mathematical culture for your child outside of school walls in a fun and engaging way.
