Mitzi Moshiri

Welcome!

I am very excited to be a part of the Remote Learning Academy this year. I have been a teacher at Grizzell for 12 years as a Library Media Specialist. I have coached cross country, track, and even tennis here at Grizzell. I have also been the 8th grade Power of the Pen coach for 12 years. I thoroughly enjoy helping students with their writing and I enjoy helping them grow as readers as well. Prior to working at Grizzell, I was a Gifted Intervention Specialist at Indian Run Elementary. I also taught 7th grade ELA in Arizona after graduating from The Ohio State University. I returned to Ohio and pursued my master’s degree in Library Science at Kent State University. I have been teaching for 23 years.

I look forward to working with your child this school year. I am an avid reader of YA literature and I really enjoy technology. We will have some learning curves initially, but I am excited to help your child no matter where they left off in the spring so they will be prepared for High School.
