Independent Reading

Remote Learning Academy students are expected to read independently throughout the school year 30 minutes a school day or the equivalent of 2.5 hours per week. Depending on your child's schedule, they may be placed in an "Independent Reading" class, which is dedicated time for them to do this reading. Students can read a variety of media - books, magazines, school work, ebooks... anything!

Students will be completing a "Reading Tracker" with their ELA teacher.
