Mini Show FAQ's

During your child’s regular class time and studio at Dublin Dance Centre and Gymnastics. Find your specific class details here.

Children wear their costume, tights, hair and optional make up. Parents are invited into the studio to watch their child practice the entire show. 

Klatte Photography is on site for optional professional photos.

Stage makeup is optional for the mini show. Please see our stage makeup chart here :)

Abbey Theater

Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled show time. When you arrive at the Dublin Rec Center, locate the Abbey Theater. Line up at the glass lobby doors. Teachers will collect your child from the line and take them backstage.

Children wear their costume, tights, dance shoes (if they typically wear them), Hair and optional stage makeup should be completed. 

No outside shoes or clothing articles should go backstage.

The show is around 30 minutes long. Children participate in an introduction parade, their dance, cheering on other performers, and a finale. They sit with their teacher for the entire show.

Parents are not permitted to go backstage.

Nothing - students will spend 10 minutes backstage and we don’t want to lose anything!

At the end of the show, the audience will be instructed to exit to the lobby. ONE parent will stay in the theater and teachers will meet them with their child.

Yes, everyone who wants a seat needs a ticket. 

• Wheelchair seating is available. 

• Infants do not need a ticket if they sit on a lap.
