Please plan on 15 minutes to park and walk in.
What happens during dress rehearsal?
Children warm-up, practice their dance backstage, and perform their scene on stage.
Parents are welcome to watch their child rehearse and take pictures/video.
Klatte Photography will be at UAHS to take optional professional photos. Order forms will be available and can be filled out day-of. (Photos will NOT be available on show days: SAT, June 6 & SUN, June 7) Klatte Photography: 614-430-9760
What should my child wear on dress rehearsal?
Costume, tights, and bring dance shoes (if they typically wear them). Hair and stage makeup should be completed. No outside shoes, clothing, or bags should go backstage.
Where do I drop-off & pick-up for dress rehearsal?
At the table to the right (South side) of the theater where you will drop-off your student.

What should I do if my child has multiple dances in the same show?
You will fill out a costume change sheet in the office as soon as you can. On dress rehearsal and show day you will bring your other costume(s) in a clear garment bag with their change-sheet attached. Please put your child’s name in every piece and part. Please only drop off costumes for the current show.

What does my child do during the show?
While not performing, your child will be sitting in the balcony with their class, watching the show and cheering on fellow performers. Students are always with an adult. Teachers supervise bathroom and/or water breaks. All students will warm up and practice their dance before the stage.
How do I pick-up my child after the show?
At the conclusion of the show, parents will be instructed to go to the balcony and pick up their child. Please send one parent only. Teachers will be available to instruct parents. While pick-up takes waiting time, we ask parents to follow the line to ensure that each child is returned to their correct parent/guardian.
Will professional photos be available on Show Day?
No, Klatte Photography will ONLY be present during D.R. week: MON, June 1 - FRI, June 5.
Backstage
What should I pack for backstage?
Nothing! Costume, tights, and dance shoes (if shoes are worn in class) will be worn at all times.
Should I send food with my student?
No, nothing will be permitted backstage. Please plan to eat in between shows.
Placement students have been instructed on what to bring.
Are parents permitted backstage?
Parents are NOT permitted backstage.
Hair, Makeup, & Costumes
What should I do with my child's hair?
All dancers and gymnasts will wear a low bun with a middle part. Watch a hair bun tutorial HERE.
What is stage makeup?
Please see our stage makeup chart HERE :)
Where can I buy tights?
Tights will be available in the office starting in early May.
Where can I buy a commemorative show shirt?
Please use the links below, mind the dates.
You will order the shirt by "enrolling" your child.
"Register" each family member that would like a show shirt and input their size.
Please initial waiver for system override.

Tickets
Do I need to purchase a ticket?
Yes, everyone who wants a seat needs a ticket.
Wheelchair seating is available.
Infants do not need a ticket if they sit on a lap.

My children are in multiple shows, do I need multiple tickets?
One ticket is all you need--re-admittance is available to all ticket holders for general seating with a hand stamp. If you wish to sit in a reserved seat for every show, reserved tickets will need to be purchased for each show.
At the conclusion of each show the theater must be cleared completely. Take all personal belongings and remember your hand stamp. Tickets purchased for the “Big-Show” will gain you entry into both “Jr” performances.
How long is the show?
Please plan for the show to run 2 - 2 ½ hours.

Where can I order a recording of the show?
