Orientation Leader
Have you thought of yourself as a student leader on campus?
Are you interested in helping to welcome our new and transfer students as they kick off their Delaware Tech experience?
As an Orientation Leader, you will have the chance to help first-year and transfer students complete their Delaware Tech transition. You will also sharpen your leadership resume and add transferable skills that four-year schools and employers are looking for!

This position requires on campus participation for selected orientation leaders.
Qualities of an Orientation Leader
To be an Orientation Leader, you must:
Be energetic and excited about connecting students with DTCC
Have achieved a minimum 6 Delaware Tech credits, and be a continuing student attending classes at a Delaware Tech campus at least part-time in the fall (all academic programs are welcomed and encouraged)
Be able to participate in a 20-minute interview
Actively participate in all hours of scheduled training as indicated by your campus
Be available to serve as an Orientation Leader for the GPS001 sessions at your home campus and virtually
Feel confident independently facilitating activities for small to medium-sized groups of student
Be in good judicial standing with the Dean of Student Affairs and good academic standing with the Dean of Instruction
