Social Pension

One of the provisions stated under Section 5 Republic Act 9994 otherwise known as the Expanded Senior Citizens Act of 2010.

SPISC is the additional government assistance program of the DSWD which provides a monthly stipend of ₱ 500.00, to augment the daily subsistence and other medical needs of indigent senior citizens. The program seeks to improve the condition of indigent senior citizens by augmenting their daily subsistence and medical needs; reduce incidence of hunger; and protect them from neglect, abuse, deprivation, and natural and man-made disasters.

Centenarian

Republic Act 7432 or also known as the Centenarians Act of 2016

Centenarian refers to all Filipinos, who have reached one hundred years old and above, whether residing in the Philippines or abroad. 

Centenarian Gift - refers to the amount of ₱ 100,000.00 tax free cash benefit to be given to the centenarian as a gift from the national government through the DSWD.
