IN PHOTOS | To evaluate the progress in the implementation and ensure the attainment of its 2025 targets and commitments, the DSWD Field Office MIMAROPA, conducted the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) Implementation Review 2025 and 2026-Year Starter Planning Workshop from October 14 to 17, 2025 in Manila.
Spearheaded by the SLP Regional Program Management Office, the 4-day activity further aimed to review program accomplishments, revisit operational guidelines, identify challenges, and develop responsive strategies to enhance the efficiency and impact of SLP implementation across the MIMAROPA provinces.

DSWD Field Office MIMAROPA recently held the first hybrid (virtual and face to face) 4-day rollout training of the recently issued Memorandum Circular Series No. 3 Series of 2025 or the Omnibus Guidelines of the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) at Selah Garden Hotel, Pasay City from April 22 to 25, 2025.ย
The new guidelines aim to shorten and streamline the programโs implementation processes, reduce timelines, and promote the sustainability of the livelihood projects through the formation and functionality of the SLP Associations (SLPAs).ย It further highlights the programโs enhanced monitoring and evaluation, capacity building, and partnership activities based on the conducted Time and Motion Study.

LOOK | The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office MIMAROPA, through the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), successfully launched the first session of its webinar series titled โSLP Registro: Formalizing Livelihoods for Sustainable Growthโ on May 2, 2025 via Google Meet.
The webinar was attended by seventy (70) SLP personnel both from the Regional Program Management Office (RPMO) and provincial offices, with Anjonneth A. Daileg, Trade and Industry Development Specialist from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) MIMAROPA as the resource person.
Her session covered the DTI business registration process, which is a crucial step in legitimizing enterprises and enabling access to various forms of government support. Key topics included identifying who needs to register with DTI, the step-by-step registration process both online and in-person, business name validity, renewal procedures, and corresponding fees.
She also discussed the Barangay Micro Business Enterprise (BMBE) registration process and its benefits, including income tax exemption and eligibility for government assistance and financing, and stressed ways to strengthen the capacity of SLP implementers in assisting program participants with the formalization of their micro-enterprises through proper business registration.
The SLP Registro webinar series, conducted every Friday, is part of the Sulong Dunong, the capacity-building initiative of the Sustainable Livelihood Program. This series aims to equip SLP implementers with practical knowledge and tools they can use to better assist participants in developing and sustaining their livelihood projects.

DSWD MIMAROPA participates in the Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) 13th Founding Anniversary celebration today, June 28, 2024, at the DSWD Central Office Grounds with the theme, โLabin-tatlong Taon ng Pagsibol at Pagyabongโ.ย
Since its inception in 2011, SLP has proven to be a transformative force in the lives of its program participants as it served and provided thousands of employment and livelihood projects to all eligible associations and individuals.
During the activity, DSWD MIMAROPA through the SLP Regional Program Managementย Office (RPMO) showcases various products crafted by the program participants from the five (5) provinces โ Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan.
The SLP is a capability-building program of DSWD that aims to help the poor, vulnerable, and marginalized households and communities to improve their socio-economic conditions by accessing and acquiring thriving and resilient livelihoods and/or employment.

MARINDUQUE โ The DSWD MIMAROPA awarded a total of P10,200,000.00 livelihood assistance to 680 Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP) participants from the municipalities of Boac, Mogpog, Sta. Cruz, Buenavista, Gasan, and Torrijos last July 16-17, 2024.

Pinangunahan ni Provincial Governor Eduardo B. Gadiano ang anibersaryo at trade fair at binigyang-diin ang pagtataguyod sa mga agri-tourism products ng Occidental Mindoro, gayundin ang mga food at non-food products na gawa sa indigenous raw materials sa probinsya.
Dumalo rin sa trade fair sina Committee on Tourism Chair Antonietta Villaroza, Committee on Indigenous Peoplesโ Affairs Chair Juanito Lumawig, Provincial Administrator Muriel Reguinding, at iba pang opisyales mula sa munisipalidad ng Sablayan at San Jose at Department of Agriculture.
