Knowledge Management Section
The Knowledge Management Section's (KMS) mandates are based on the Organizational Outcome 5 which is “delivery of social welfare and development programs by local government units through local social welfare and development offices improved”. Likewise, there is a detour strategy based on the DSWD Strategy Map 2028 and DSWD Governance Scorecards thru Administrative Order 05 series of 2020 and issuance Administrative Order 18 series of 2020 or the Recalibrated DSWD Strategy 2022-2028 and Administrative Order 17 series of 2020 or the DSWD SULONG Recovery Plan 2021-2022 due to the occurrence of COVID-19 and in preparation for the implementation of the Mandanas Ruling. Hence, the Section also involves in the Strategic Priorities 2. “Increase capacity of LGUs to improve the delivery of social protection and social welfare services in response to pandemic and preparation for full implementation of MANDANAS”.
Knowledge Management
The Capacity Building Section as the SWIDB counterpart of the Field Office NCR from Central Office was designated as the secretariat for the Knowledge Management of the Region. As the Regional Learning Resource Center is also under Knowledge Management, Capacity Building Section will be in charge in the management of the RLRC and shall designate a focal person among its staff to spearhead KM related activities, attend and contribute to knowledge sharing within the KM Core Team and oversee the management of RLRC following the standard operating procedure.
