Programming

NVIDIA JETSON: Deep learning on the edge/Robotics

• NVIDIA Jetson course will have one resource person from NVIDIA. You will build Deep Learning based projects deployed on NVIDIA Jetson Nano boards. THIS COURSE IS FIRST TIME IN INDIA
• Potential projects:
  • Projects that involve live data and products that are deployed in the field such as Video, Speech, Medical signals such s EEG, Satellite images, Data from Mobile phone sensors etc.

ARM Microprocessors

• The course on Microprocessors will be conducted by Mr. Darshak Vasavada, Visiting Scientist at Robert Bosch Center for Cyber Physical Systems, IISc. He is the Author of a book on same topic to be published by ARM University

AWS Educate career pathways

• The first 2 AWS courses in the following spreadsheet are instructor lead and the rest will be run in flipped learning mode.
• There are multiple career pathways. You can choose one.
• You will get free cloud credits to do hands-on activities.
• After completion, you will get a badge (digital certificate) which can be verified by anyone. You will also get access to AWS job portal specifically designed for students who complete AWS educate courses.

• This internship will enable you to generate good idea for a startup, do market analysis, develop business plan etc. using Lean Startup methodology. Essentially you will complete one full full iteration of setting up your company.
• This will have lot of focus on leadership development as your success depends more on your life skills rather than your idea.
• You can have a website running for your company with you as a CEO
• It is for educational purposes, and you can join if you just want to get the entrepreneurship skills. Of course, most will have their real companies too!
• A Senior VP from CISCO will be mentoring the participants.

Common Points

• All courses have significant hands on component. Those more than a week will have projects. We are tying up with companies who will support these projects and provide internship certificates.
• Courses related to learning programming are not charged. AWS flipped learning will also be free. Rest of the courses will have charges based on component costs and instructor charges. You can go ahead and register now. You can drop out later in case you have concern with charges.
• All pre-requisites will be covered in the beginning of the courses. E.g., both deep learning and Jetson courses will start with Python.
