Holy Spirit School’s inaugural Multicultural Day in March 2025 brought together students, families, and staff for a joyful, school-wide celebration of the cultures represented in our community. In preparation, students researched countries around the world and created informational displays highlighting geography, religion, history, traditions, language, and culture, while parents and volunteers prepared interactive country tables, artifacts, performances, and traditional foods.
During the event, the school gathered for Mass and an opening assembly before students traveled through continent-themed courtyards, completing passports, answering trivia, participating in cultural activities, and sampling foods from around the world. Performances, a fashion show, raffles, and buddy activities fostered connection, curiosity, and shared celebration across grade levels.
Rooted in the Catholic mission to honor the dignity of every person and celebrate our global community, the day promoted understanding, empathy, and respect for diversity while strengthening unity within Holy Spirit School and inspiring continued cultural learning throughout the year.
