DSHS Band Boosters
The Davis Senior High School band programs always welcome help from all band families! If you are interested in serving in one of the volunteer positions listed on the Booster Team page, e-mail the President expressing your interest. Otherwise look for opportunities though Sign-Up Genius, and emails from the Director and the Band Booster Board.
There are many forms of volunteering and supporting our students' music education:
Serve as one of the Band Booster volunteer positions.
Chaperone a Pep Band event.
Attend and support fundraising events.
Donate money.
Put your name down on any of the Sign-up Genius requests. If there is an active Sign-up Genius link, it can be found here.
Take pictures of events and pass them along to the Social Media Coordinator, Secretary or President.
Attend a monthly Band Booster meeting.
Encourage your child to practice at home every day.
Make efforts to help your child always arrive (early) on time.
Keep instrument(s) in good working condition and have all needed supplies (reeds, valve oil, sticks, drum key, etc.).
Have family and friends show up at some events to hear your child play.
Offer words of support and praise. A positive outlook can have tremendous impact on student learning, development, and growth.
