Google Classroom is a web-based learning environment. When logged into Google Classroom, students can collaborate with their peers and teachers. Google Classroom offers a digital safe space for students to view class announcements, access posted course content, view posted assignments, and turn in completed work.
Only authorized Dallas School District users (students, teachers, and other designated staff members) can have access to a DSD Google Classroom. Google users outside the DSD network are not granted permission to any DSD Classrooms.
Option 1 (Recommended): Mrs. Dunn will send an email to your child's DSD email account and invite your child to join our Google Classroom. Please note that any activity in Google Classroom is documented under the student’s login.
Option 2: From the school issued Chromebook, ask the student to login and launch the Google Classroom App. Please note that any activity in Google Classroom is documented under the student’s login.
Option 3: From any computer with internet access, click the Google Classroom image below and have the student login with their DSD Google username and password. Please note that any activity in Google Classroom is documented under the student’s login.
*Guardian Email Summaries: Parents/Caregivers can choose to receive an email summary of their child's work. Information is sent about missing and upcoming work and class activities. More information on Guardian Email Summaries can be found here.
