Writing Reminders

1. Use this DOUBLE-SPACED heading in the top left corner for final copies:

Mrs. Cavill

ELA 8 – Period ____, Days ____

Due Date

2. Paragraphs SHOULD be 5 or more sentences.

3. Papers will be 5 or more paragraphs (introduction, 3 body, and conclusion)

4. Do not use contractions, abbreviations, or slang, except when writing dialogue.

5. Use Times New Roman 12 point font. Heading, title, and essay should all be the same size, same font.
