Take a walk through nature and use what you see as inspiration, no matter the season!
Too often we think of artists as those who are good with pencil and paper, skilled with a paint brush, or able to mold a realistic object out of clay.
What if you were told that you don't have to be good at any of these skill sets and still be a wonderfully talented artist? Take a flora culturalist (one who creates flower arrangements) for example, their talents are used in events like weddings and party celebrations. Being creatively talented sometimes simply means having a "good artistic eye". Don't forget that art comes in MANY forms. There is so much opportunity for creativity when artists use nature as a form of art and inspiration!
Let's give it a try!

Have a vase full of dying roses you don't know what to do with? How about preserving those flowers so that they can last a lifetime? Have fun! WAIT! What you say? That's right, a simple act of pressing flowers can preserve the life and beauty of any floral arrangement.
FLOWER PRESSING is Fun! Easy! Cheap! Grandma approved!

Reflection is an important part of the art process. Reflection is when an artist thinks back upon his/her artwork and wonders about ways the art could be made better next time it is made, or what things were learned through the art process. To finalize this assignment, fill out an ART REFLECTION SHEET (found in Google Classroom) and add it, along with digital picture/drawing of your ART AS NATURE creation, to your FINAL PORTFOLIO.
