My goal as your art teacher is to encourage creativity, and help you develop not only your artistic skills, but also your patience, ability to problem solve, determination, and an appreciation for the wonderful world of art. Let's experiment and be willing to take risks! Let's not be afraid to make mistakes! We all make mistakes and can learn from them if we choose to. Also, remember that sometimes mistakes lead to some pretty awesome creative discoveries! :)
Over the years, students at Beckwith have impressed and amazed me with their incredible imaginations, hard work, and a willingness to learn. I know that once again you will continue to surprise me (and perhaps even yourselves)! As always, I look forward to seeing what your imaginations will dream up. Let’s create a fun-filled and positive atmosphere together in art this year!
