Electronics & Communication (EC) engineering department with current intake of 120 students was established in 2002. EC Department has well qualified, young and dynamic staff with expertise different areas of EC. EC engineering broadly deals with systems related to acquiring, communicating, manipulating and analysing information. EC covers wide range of systems from small sensors to huge satellites, simple calculators to fast computers, microwave ovens to missile systems, mobile phones to medical electronics, automation in industries to electronics in automobiles, etc. EC has achieved fastest technology growth ever among all domains of engineering. It has become pivotal in all engineering applications as well as in our daily life and its sphere of influence is continuously expanding. Curriculum of EC offers a combination of hardware and software skills with student centric teaching learning process. Department is equipped with extensive multimedia tools and educational software for efficient teaching and learning. Department gives equal emphasis on fundamental studies, practical exposure and industry orientation.
