In pre-Cal me and my partner participated in a activity where we measured a tree and determined how far away we were from the tree using trigonometry.
For the past 2 weeks, we did a project called “Rocket Launch” where during the next couple of class periods me and my group members ( Oriental Collins, Eleanor Jones, Zen Moss) will construct a rocket in order to learn about projectile motion. During the first session, my group and I sketched our rocket and proclaimed our roles for the project. We designed our rocket to be super light to have a high vertical height. In our second session, we produced and constructed our rocket. In our 3rd session, after the construction of our rocket, we conducted our lift-off. In doing so we calculated the time it was in the air and the approximate height. We then took our findings and compared them for our range of accuracy.
In this project, we graphed out rent and income percentages within different places. After pointing out our data we graphed for our range.
