The Columbian the widespread exchange of the widespread transfer of plants, animals, precious metals, commodities, culture, human populations, technology, diseases, and etc between both Americas and Europe following Columbus’s expedition. 

Our objective during this project was to cook using materials only found in our hemisphere. This related to what we were learning because we were learning about what materials were brought over to the Americas by Spanish explorers.

It help me understand the Columbian exchange better because I was able to experience what it was like using only a set amount of ingredients before the exchange and how even making basic meals was a struggle.
