Atlanta’s style is bold, expressive, and trend-driven—deeply influenced by hip-hop, luxury streetwear, and vibrant Southern culture. In contrast, Chicago’s fashion reflects a mix of urban edge and practical layering, inspired by its colder climate, historic architecture, and strong roots in street culture.
The design of the magazine visually represents this contrast through color palettes and layout choices. Warm tones, dynamic typography, and high-energy imagery capture Atlanta’s lively fashion scene, while cooler tones, structured grids, and layered compositions reflect Chicago’s sleek and resilient aesthetic.
Through photography, editorials, and styled spreads, City Threads celebrates how two major American cities express individuality through clothing, showing that fashion is not just about trends—but about identity, environment, and culture.
