The high school basketball season was a journey full of unforgettable moments, teamwork, and valuable lessons. From the thrill of winning games to the tough losses that taught resilience, every practice and match brought the team closer together. The season wasn’t just about winning; it was about learning how to communicate better on and off the court, overcoming challenges as a unit, and growing both individually and collectively. The dedication required for early morning practices, late-night strategy sessions, and pushing through physical limits helped build a sense of discipline and perseverance. Through wins and losses alike, the friendships made and the lessons of teamwork, sportsmanship, and determination were the true highlights of the season.

At the Atlanta Preservation Center, I assist with efforts to preserve and protect Atlanta's historic buildings and neighborhoods. I also work on research projects, documentation of historic sites, helping with community outreach programs, and supporting preservation initiatives. I also gain hands-on experience in areas like architectural history, urban planning, and historical conservation techniques. Depending on the focus, tasks could include archival research, helping to organize events or tours, and working with preservation professionals to advocate for sustainable development in historic districts.
