Water Bottle Rocket Project
Intro:
In pre-cal we were assigned to do a project titled the Water Bottle Rocket! We got into groups and created a rockect using different materials such as, 2 liter bottles, cardboard, tape, etc. The objective of this projet was to use time data from our rocket launch to create a graph of its height vs its time which follows it parabolic equation.
The team and I sat down together to come up with our rockect. We felt like in order for our rockect to stay in the air it would need to have a sharp point and even wings to keep it straight up when launching. We also put our fuel tank inside our rocket to give it a unique look. This project was fun.

Trignometric Calculations!
Final Position = (initial velocity) x (time) – (0.5)(32)(time)^2
● Final Position = 0 (the rocket is back on the ground)
● Time = the total time the rocket was in the air Our Time: 3 seconds
● Calculate initial velocity by manipulating the equation until you isolate for velocity
