Chemvas /Artist statement

This assignment was called Children´s book. We had to create a book involving the name of our our elements and what they do. The nme of our book was called the Halogen Friends. The elements were Bromine, Fluorine, Chlorine, Astatine, and Iodine. We split the elements up and my element was bromine. Bromine is a chemical element and the symbol is Br. I think this was a nice project and i think my group worked very well. I think this was a nice project because i learned about the elements and got more of a good clear understanding and had fun at the same time. Also it helped me to collaborate with people more that i never really talked to. My group member were always on top of there work and we always had everything turned in on time.

This project was different textiles art experiences! If was really fun and challenging at the same time. I did mess up a lot times, and got stuck. We did weaving, knitting, knotting, and net making. My favorite was net making because it was easiest and most less stressful project out of all of them. The most difficult one for me was knotting, i got confused so many times!

Dyeing project

This was a very quick fun project to me. This was my favorite out of all the projects we did so far, because it required a lot of creativity to complete this project. So first, we started of with a blank white bandana. Then, we got some liquid glue and created any type of design we wanted, but we also had to make sure we included a parallelogram, because that is what we were talking about. Next, we left it dry over night then the next day we mixed tie dye with water and created many different colors and painted it on our design we created. Lastly, we let it dry for a few minutes and then took it over to a sink and rinsed it out with water and let it air dry!

Exchange!

This project was one of my favorite projects in World history, because i really do love to cook. We had to bring in many different item for the Eastern and Westen hemisphere! We made 1 trade in the beginning then after that, we couldn't make anymore. If you did its called cross contaminated and thats how you catch a disease! The items my group had were noodles, ground turkey, tomatoes, and sauce. Out of those materials my group decided to make spaghetti! it was delicious!

PBL World History

This assignment was our PBL and we were learning about the Mesopotamia and how they lived. It was like a day in Mesopotamia we had to build a house, and bricks so that we could survive and we also made different objects with clay.

World Literature

We are creating a book , and my book is about a girl and her high school experience/ diary. Every two weeks we have 5 pages due, and i think that i am doing good and staying on top of my book. Sometimes it can get stressful but i always push through no matter what. When i first started writing my book i had no idea what i wanted i to be about. All i knew was that i wanted it to be interesting.

Recitation #3

This assignment was one of my least favorite assignments that we did in World Lit. When it comes to remembering thing, my brain does not cooperate. Even though i passed with a good score. Basically, we had to remember this whole entire recitation, and then say it aloud in front of the class. But this time instead we got lucky and got to take it on mastery connect! Which all we had to do was fill in the blank and that was way easier to me!

Geometry

we are working on creating a ramp for people with disabilities. We have to find the length and the width of our ramp and also measure the different angles all through out our ramp.
