For this project, my classmates and i designed a stop motion video by using google slides to tell a short story.
I made a scarf. The scarf is related to chemistry because I used colored yarn to create the scarf and in order to get the color in the scarf, the color/dye is covalently bonded with the fibers of the yarn, creating the color. It benefits the environment by reusing the recycled material. The principles of design I am currently using is testing and modification. I made this scarf by knitting the recycled yarn together. The difficult part of this project was trying to tie together the yarn I had to add on to the last pieces. If I could do this differently, I would tie the yarn together in a different way to make a cooler looking design. I learned how to use the only resources around me to make a nice cozy scarf for this upcoming freezing winter.
The molecule I chose for this project was a water molecule. My idea was to draw some kind of body of water that represents the molecule. I used a principle of design by creating balance and contrast through the shading and lighting of my artwork. I incorporated my tinker cad model by placing it at the top of my drawing so that the color doesn't pop out because of its dull background. I think that engineers use the digital tools I used to create this artwork. Specifically the molecule because I used Tinker CAD which is a website where you can build 3d objects.
For this project, I made a bowl out of clay. First,
For this project, my group and I made a painting to show how drug abuse is real and the impact it has on people in out world today.
