My name is Paris Favors, and I attend Charles R. Drew Charter School. I was born in Baltimore, Maryland. I am a kind and curious person. I love learning and experiencing new things. I like traveling with my family, and have been out of the country 3 times to South Africa, Belize, and Mexico, and I'm excited to travel in the future. I lived in Maryland for the first three years of my life, before moving to Atlanta and attending Sheltering Arms, then Drew. Drew helped me foster my love for social justice, the arts, reading, and education overall, but most of all Golf. I have been playing golf for about 9-10 years. I have played on the Drew golf team for 3 years as a JA, JV, and Varsity player. Before graduating, I hope to help win a state championship for my school. Drew also helped to grow my love for science. I have participated in the school, district, and regional science fairs since the third grade. In 5th grade, I won the state fair, and I participated in the state fair as a 6th grader. I hope to continue my Science Fair journey and hopefully win at a higher level. When I'm not practicing golf, you can find me listening to music or creating art, or doing work for my Girl Scout Gold award.

Some of the things I want to do within my time at Drew are to win a state golf championship, win a state science fair, and graduate with over 4.0. I also hope to complete a lot of community service and do well in all of my clubs. After High School, I want to pursue higher education and attend an HBCU, and then get another degree at a prestigious university. I'm not sure yet what I want to become, but I would like to pursue a career in the sciences that can help others.
