PBL: Re-Designing Vine City
For this project, I was a part of a group of 5 who were tasked with figuring out how to redesign a community for the better. To do this, we had to start by finding the problems that this neighborhood is in conflict with and where they come from. Our chosen community, Vine City, had serious issues with poverty and income, air quality, and crime. We learned that these issues were all interconnected and caused by something systemic. In order to combat these issues, we proposed a community center, more green spaces, and other programs to bring more wealth, prosperity, and health to the area. We were also enlightened to the fact that geometry and city planning go hand in hand and that geometry is vital for building a strong community because everything in a community must be placed proportionately and exactly so that problems that may be unsuspected don't occur. My takeaway from this project was that geometry not only lends itself to our everyday lives, but we can also use it for important things like creating stronger communities that are present due to injustice, and it opened my eyes to some of the injustices that are occurring so close to me.

In this project, we analyzed a selection from Romeo and Juliet and decided how to use art and symbolism to express our understanding of the play. In addition, we worked in a group to design, build, and program a robotic diorama that represents their assigned selection
From this project, not only did I learn to combine creativity and engineering. I also got to practice collaboration. With this project also came a lot of troubleshooting. Overall, this experience taught me a lot, and I now know more about the processes of coding.

Students will create or label a world map showing the MAJOR agricultural regions. Requirements
Label all continents (7) and oceans(5)
Label 3 agricultural regions
Use LED Lights (3) to distinguish each region. Lights must be installed and programmed.
The map must include a legend and title. Must also be colorful and creative.
Must have a Venn diagram comparing and contrasting Subsistence Agriculture and Commercial Agriculture.
