Human Geography + Computer Science, Mr. Bennet & Mr. Kitchen: Very interesting class. Easily related computer science into Human EOGRPAHY. Example(s): How people moved in relation to the advancement of technology. How computer science has been able to record how people have migrated and congregated over time.
Physical Science, Mr. Koinezny: A deeper teaching of what I learned in 8th grade. Topics learned in class include, Newton's 3 laws of physics, stages of matter, momentum, potential and kinetic energy, energy waves, circuits, energy, and work.
Literature, Mrs. Klein: Read many great novels including Odyssey, Sundiata, The Purple Hibiscus, and Beowulf. Very interesting novels and teaching was executed nicely by Mrs. Klein.
Algebra 1, Mrs. Macintyire: Very fun class. Teaching was executed perfectly and I was able to understand the work perfectly. Some topic earned were quadratic formula, factoring, square root, arithmetic, equations, inequalities, and system of equations.
Spanish 1, Dr. D: Learned the basics of Spanish like colors, some foods, body parts, days of the week, and verbs
Photography 1, Mr. Parker: Learned the basics of photography and worked on getting used to the camera. Topics learned include modeling, conceptual photography, light, and composition of photography, portraits, and headshots.
General Heath, Coach Harris: Learned about the human body and its limits. Topics learned include consequences of alphol and drugs, sex ed, mental illnesses, food and nutrition, and body development.
PE, Coach Harris: Learned about exercises and muscle density. Performed workout routines and created a boot camp for the Biggest Looser competition.
