10th Grade
Geometry, Mrs. Gresham: Easy class and taught very well. Notebooks have been an extreme help because it records all information. Some we have learned include tan, sin, cos, Pythagorean theorem, transformations, right triangles, similarity, and volume.
Art, Dr. Kurt: Very creative class. Because of our situation we have mostly focused on digital art rather than physical art. Some topics learned include mastering digital art tools, symbolism, still life, perspective, components of art, and the elements of art.
AP World History, Ms. Cain: Mentally challenging class. Overfill of work with little time to study which makes it hard to retain information. Topics learned include, industrialization, the Mongols, early civilizations, advancement of technology, European exploration and colonization, and Enlightenment.
Photography 2, Mr. Parker: Creative class. Focus more so on symbolism and creating better products. Topics practiced include modeling, conceptual photography, light, and composition of photography.
Chemistry, Mrs. Simmons: Fun and informative class. Teaching is executed very well. Includes different ways off learning. Some topic learned include molar mass, elements, balancing equations, chemical and physical changes, atoms, molecules, ionic and covalent bonding, and phases of matter.
World Literature, Ms. Mayes: Creative and independent work as well as many group presentations. Topics learned include writing your own book, rhetoric, pathos, logos, and ethos, figurative language, literary conflict, and theme.
Spanish 2, Ms. Fernandez: Learning Spanish through oral communication. Topic learned include seasons, weather, verbs, careers, places, schedules, furniture, dreams, hopes, animals, art, and pronunciation.
Lifestyle sports, Coach Harris: Topics learned teamwork, sportsmanship, and athlete struggles.
Golf, Coach Holloway: Topic learned Title IX, athletes, and discrimination n the sports world. Very oral class with group discussions.
