Drew is a school that feels like a community more than anything else. Because I’ve been here since Pre‑K, I’ve watched it grow, change, and still stay committed to supporting every student. Drew is a place where teachers know your name, where students are encouraged to explore their interests, and where creativity and leadership are taken seriously. The environment is welcoming, structured, and focused on helping students succeed academically while also developing as people. There’s a strong emphasis on arts, STEAM, and community involvement, which makes the school feel alive and full of opportunities.
Drew stands out because of its culture and the way it invests in students. The school blends high expectations with real support, so you never feel like you’re doing things alone. Programs like ACCA, and the strong connection between the elementary, middle, and high school campuses create a sense of continuity that most schools don’t have. Drew also focuses heavily on project‑based learning, community partnerships, and giving students real experiences that prepare them for college and careers. It’s a school where students are encouraged to lead, create, and give back, not just show up for classes.
I chose to attend Drew because it has always felt like home. I’ve been here since Pre‑K, and the relationships I’ve built with teachers, staff, and students have shaped who I am. Drew gave me opportunities to grow academically and personally, from joining National Beta Club and National Honor Society to working in the R.I.S.E. program and studying Early Childhood Education through ACCA. I stayed at Drew because I knew this was a place where I could thrive, stay connected to my community, and prepare for my future as a Special Education teacher. Drew didn’t just educate me it helped me discover my purpose.
