For my project my group wanted to do something totally different and think outside of the box we knew most people would do characters like Penelope, or Telemachus. However my group is the only group I know of that did lotus eaters. Our collage compared lotus eaters and drug addicts to show the similarities and characteristics that lotus eaters , and drug addicts had in common.In the Odyssey when the men ate the lotus flowers they got hooked and lost all their memories before they ate the flower.The lotus eaters presented similar behavior as drug addicts. They lost their memory and they could not stop eating the flower. When you think about addicts you automatically think about people who are addicted to drugs.Drug addicts don't lose all their memories but they do start to forget things and damage their brains in different areas. For both lotus eaters and drug addicts it is hard for them to come back to their old selves. Even though drug addicts can still get still clean they only have so much time.

My favorite project and the one I think i excelled the most on is the "Mini Cine - Proyecto". The project is called a Mini project because it does not take much time. For this project the students were assigned a Spanish speaking country, my country was Spain. I looked up famous and popular movies in Spain and came across the movie "Vicky Christina Barcelona". I started studying the movie from the actors to the story line. I think having pictures was also very important for this project because it kind of made everything come together.
