I came to Drew in 10th grade after being homeschooled for all of middle school and 9th grade. Adjusting to the environment, work, and sleep schedule was a hard switch. But I had a very welcoming experience that made overcoming all the hardships much easier. The activities that the teachers came up with made the classes much more interesting and the material easier to understand. The inclusiveness of the students made it feel like I was valued and respected. The opportunities provided by Drew have allowed me to better myself while also being able to help others. Overall, coming to Drew put me in an impactful environment that allowed me to better myself, help others, meet great people, and have a better learning experience.
