Today we started research for our project for literature. the project is making a movie based on different worlds from the past. My group choose to do our project on The Islamic World.

We started coming up with a plot for our play. Our play is centered around the life of Muhammad and the making of Islam.

Math
A mathematical proof is a deductive argument showing proof on why assumptions are right. We prove because it helps you understand better. This can benefit you outside of geometry because you can learn to argue better.
Art 9/27/23
Mandala is used as a symbol of the universe to its ideal form. It creation signifies the transformation of a universe of suffering to a universe of joy. Mandalas represen the universe so they could also represent a civilization. The principles of design I see are rhythm, pattern, repetition, and balance in the mandalas. You could show an atom in a mandala by use a lot of litte patterens to make one big atom.

10/27 Art
1. What have you been taught about in art this year that relates to other classes?
We learned about how to incorporate art with chemistry.
2. What have you done this year so far that demonstrates you understand Principles of Design and Elements of Art? During our It's Elementary project we displayed principles of design and elements of art.
3.How do you experiment with different possibilities in your planning and process and how can you show your process?
I can experiment by making and coming up with different ideas and possible plans for my pieces.
4. What famous/historic art have you learned about so far?
We talked about the Renaissance.
Art 12/13/2023
The goal of this project was to make ceramic works using techniques of symbols related to the columbian exchange. We made several ceramic pieces relating to the columbian Exchange in one way or another. My piece i made was a coaster I painted as the sun because you can’t grow crops without the sun. people made things like plates, silverware, crops and other things.
Art 1/3/2024
Today we started making crystal sculptures with borax. First we had to make a statue out of pipe cleaner, then we put borax into a cup and poured boiling water into it to dissolve the borax and so the borax will oversaturate the water. The borax dissolved and then we put the pipe cleaner into it and set it aide and wait for it to cool so the borax will make crystals on the pipe cleaner.
Guernica Project
Guernica is a project we did about any global conflict of our choosing. the class came together at the end with our pieces and made a collage.
