In ELA, I wrote an essay about Sundiata.

A hero can be mostly described as a brave, fearless person . Sundiata is legendary he is the king of mail, he demonstrated heroism by overcoming his childhood disabilities and saving his hometown through his bravery, strength, and courage, the class determined that the most heroic parts of Sundiatia’s journey were  his obstacles and when his journey almost ended. At the age of eighteen , sundiata truly became a hero when left mema, the town where he had been living in exile in order to build an army and battle the sorceer king to restore his hometown.

To begin during the obstacles of his heroic journey, Sundiata must leave the town of Mema where he had been living in exile. A group of five messengers from nani travel to memes and tell  Sundiata he must return home to battle the sorcerer-king, Sundiata was especially heroic when he went back to his hometown to fight the sorcerer-king and his army. Sundiatia took down his army and was able to get the sorcerer king, also sundiatia had to build an army to take him down. To sum this part all up sundiatia was brave enough after he took down the sorcerer king’s army he decied that even thought he sorcere king had alot of power that he can take him down without his army .

Additionally,during Sundiata’s heroic journey he was brave enough to battle the sorcerer king. The first time he battled the sorcerer king, he lost. The next time, he defeated him with an arrow with the spur of a white rooster. He was able to not only defeat the sorcerer king but to take down his entire army as well. This demonstrates heroism because the sorcerer king was trying to take over Mali, and Sundiata stopped him.

After the war, Sundiata established an empire.First, Sundiata and the other kings of Mali wrote a constitution to establish laws to protect the people of Mali. Additionally, Sundiata held feasts to feed people who suffered under the sorcerer king. The sorcerer king was a cruel leader who did not care for his people. Sundiat:a is a kind king who truly cares about his kingdom. 

Some people may not believe that Sundiata is a hero because he did not fight the sorcerer on his own and needed an army to fight with him. However, even though he did fight with an army, his army was helpful and useful. By fighting with an army, it showed that Sundiata was brave enough to take on the responsibilities of being a leader. Sundiata is a hero because he really cares about his kingdom, and he really takes pride in caring for them unlike the sorcerer king who was mean and wanted to rule. 

Sundiata was a brave and fearless king. He built an army to fight and defeat the sorcerer king, and then he built an empire  that protected his people. If Sundiata was alive today, he could help improve the world by actually helping people who are in need and not able to survive on their own.
