Our Drew Eagles have been very busy this quarter! The kindergartners practiced their speaking and listening skills when they interviewed their friend to learn more about their toy preferences. They also used all of the elements of STEAM in their "Toys and Play" project. They learned about force and motion, created a prototype of their friend's toy, engineered and designed a toy using recyclable materials, and incorporated attributes such as size, color, shape, and texture into their project. Lukas made a smooth, red, yellow and big robot for Hudson. Hudson made a medium,orange and smooth car for Lukas. They both move fast and can be pushed.

Harper made a big, soft, green and blue fish for Riley. Riley made a medium, smooth, pink and blue car for Harper. Both of the toys move by pushing them.
Stella made a small, blue and smooth helicopter for Cairo. It can move back & forth and up & down. Cairo made a pink, big, and smooth pig for Stella. It move with a push.
Isaiah made a purple, blue, medium and smooth Elsa doll for Anderson.The arms of the doll move up and down. Anderson made a big, blue and soft teddy bear for Isaiah. Both of the toys move by pushing them.
Evan made a red, yellow, soft and round Sonic toy for Mac. It can move fast. Mac made a red, blue, and medium truck for Evan. Both can be pushed to move.
Brody made a brown, white, smooth and big LOL doll for Logan. Logan made a medium, smooth, and blue drum for Brody. The drum is soft around the rim. Both of the toys move by pushing them.
Torri made a red, blue, medium, and smooth car for Oliver. Oliver made a green, yellow, big, and smooth LOL doll for Torri. Both of the toys move by pushing them.
Milania made a brown, big and fluffy dog for Lyra. Lyra made a big, yellow, blue, and smooth robot for Taj. Taj made a red, blue, medium and soft car for Milania. All of the toys move by pushing them.
Vivienne made an orange, blue and small rocket ship for Carter. It can move up and down. Carter made a pink, big and soft teddy bear for Vivienne.
