The students made toys for their friend using recycled materials. They had so much fun presenting and receiving a special toy based on their friend's preferences. The students became toy experts while implementing all the elements of STEAM via reading books about force and motion, class game time, sorting objects based on attributes, making blueprints of the toy, and designing the final toy.
Adam made a medium, soft, fluffy, red and yellow Flash for John Lawrence. John Lawrence made a big, hard and rough, green top for Adam. The Flash can be pushed and the top can be pushed and goes round and round.
Elizabeth made a medium, fluffy, rainbow unicorn for Vivee. Vivee made a medium, fluffy, rainbow unicorn for Elizabeth. They both move round and round.
Fiona made a big, soft, pink Amy toy from Sonic for Kacey. Kacey made a medium, smooth, rainbow unicorn for Fiona. The Amy toy can be pushed and pulled and the unicorn can be pulled or picked up.
Leo made a big, hard, green transformer for Karter. Karter made a medium, hard, red drone for Leo. The transformer can be pulled to move and the red drone can be pushed.
Meghan made a medium, soft, pink stuffy bear for Cora. Cora made a medium, soft, pink doll for Meghan. The bear and doll both do not move.
Da’Nyah made a small, soft, rainbow dog for Eva. Eva made a big, squishy, rainbow unicorn for Da’Nyah. The dog does not move and the unicorn can be moved up and down.
Jacob made a medium, hard, red helicopter for Stefan. Stefan made a big, soft, fluffy, blue panda for Jacob. The helicopter can be pushed and the panda can be pulled or picked up.
Rowan made a medium, smooth, red train for Luka. Luka made a big, soft, rainbow dog for Rowan. The train moves round and round and the dog can be pushed.
Ellis made a medium, soft and fluffy, rainbow unicorn for Vonn. Vonn made a medium, soft and fluff, pink Pegasus for Ellis. The unicorn can be pulled and the pegasus can be pushed.
