What does it mean to volunteer?  Why would Drew require you volunteer for 100 hours during your high school career?  

Volunteering means to freely give your time and effort to help others or support a cause without getting paid.

Drew Charter requires students to complete 100 volunteer hours during high school because they want us to learn the value of service, giving back, learn new skills, and understand the importance of helping others.
