In 10th grade, we had a project called the Colombian exchange, where we explored Atlanta’s rich culinary traditions by preparing and cooking dishes from different parts of the city, including both the North and the South. It was fascinating to see how the flavors, ingredients, and cooking styles varied between regions, reflecting the unique culture and history of each area. Through this experience, I not only learned new cooking techniques but also gained a deeper appreciation for the diversity and creativity in Atlanta’s food scene. It showed me how food can tell a story about a community and connect people across different backgrounds.
Working with your classmates can be one of the most rewarding and sometimes challenging parts of school. When it goes well, it helps you learn faster, understand different perspectives, and even make the work more enjoyable.
At the end on the lesson we had judges and they tasted the food, My group got the best ratings out of all the other groups (beacuse im the one who cooked it)
