About Your Drew Experience
What is Drew like? How is Drew different than other schools? Why did you choose to attend Drew?
While attending Drew, I have experienced the love from my teachers and the opportunities that were given to me. They showed me that I can change any situation and make the best of it. All my teachers, 9th through 12th, showed me that not everything is black and grey. My teachers taught me how to think for myself and how to think outside the box. Well, I'm not the one who chose drew but I'm glad my mother chose this school because when I look at other schools, i dont think I would be here right now if I were to go to another school
9th
In engineering class, my group and I made a pair of shoes. Making the shoe or coming up with the design of the shoe was difficult.
10th
My class and I built bricks of clay out of mud and water to show how they survived in their time of day to make homes called huts
11th
I created this mask to represent the dead, called Día de los Muertos (AKA the Day of the Dead)
Having multiple colleges in one facility was exciting. It was also interesting to learn that colleges offer numerous opportunities and give options based on travel and distance. I was able to converse with different schools and inquire about what programs are offered.
