For this project, we were tasked with creating a poster that represented and explained the causes and effects that led up to the Revolutionary War. The goal of this project was to see how the events leading up to the revolution caused the war, but also how they impacted each other. With my group, I identified some of the key events that caused the Revolutionary War, like the French and Indian War and the Proclamation of 1763, and sorted them to show their connections, causes, and effects. This project helped us see how interconnected all of these events were, and how they caused a slow buildup of pressure that caused the war, which is why we chose to make our poster a volcano.
We planned a trip as travel agents to Costa Rica for two of our customers. We had a budget of $7,000. Our budget included our flight, accommodations, transportation, to and from the airport, our activities, and our food. This project is important because we learned how to plan a trip within the parameters of a budget using Spanish in a real-life context.
