In this activity, we made a collage and a video to describe ourselves. The video was recorded in Spanish. In this activity, I used my Spanish grammar skills, like conjugation, and used my vocabulary to describe myself.

In this activity, we made recipes for dishes that were created in Hispanic countries, and we combined them into one final recipe book (libro de recetas). My contribution to the recipe book focused on three Paraguayan recipes. Dulce de mamón is a dessert made from papaya and lemon juice. Soyo is a Paraguayan soup, and Chipa Guasu is a sort-of cheesy cornbread.

In this activity, we wrote a children's book and read it aloud. For this activity, we had to use Spanish past tense skills, in both the preterite and imperfect tenses. We also had to use conjugation skills to allow the verbs to match the subjects. One additional challenge I gave myself was to make the lines rhyme, and although I eventually had to add more sentences to add detail, if you read the story without the lines in parenthesis, the story will rhyme.
