For our Final Project in geometry, we made stained glass. We used our geometry skills we learned this year to measure shapes in our glass accurately. Our inspiration for our design was a guy from a game. Elements of art and design we incorperated into our glass is symmetry, value, and balance. Both sides of our glass were the same color and shape, creating symetry and balance, while a color gradient throughout the glass created value. This project related to what we learned about proofs because we used proofs to make sure our glass was symmetrical and to make sure our shapes were the right size. We had to make sure that the parallelograms we were making were actually parallelograms by measuring to see if the sides were parallel and that the adjacent angles were supplementary.
