2022 Chorus Fall Concert

This specific concert broke many barriers to say the least. For starters, we never had a fall concert before at Drew. Additionally, we had decided to do away with the traditional Drew concert attire and adapt a new look for our school events. Finally, we performed songs that were a little outside the box compared to our previous performances. Most notably, Sanctuary. The idea was to have as much student involvement across all ages to be present for the final song. This included members from other performing arts programs at Drew as well as middle and elementary schoolers.

Georgia State University SingFest

GSU Singfest was a new and unique experience to me as a chorus singer. We were given the task of learning two songs which we would rehearse at Georgia State University. During rehearsal, we were given various pieces of knowledge on the art of singing from first hand PhD certified professors and graduate students. Overall, the experience was less about the performance and more about what it would mean to be a singer at the highest level of education possible.
