Photography

My favorite unit was the Gordon Park unit. Gordon Park was my favorite unit because he saw the camera as "a weapon against poverty, against racism, against all sorts of social wrongs," using it to expose injustice, document the Black experience, and give a voice to those who couldn't speak for themselves, all while finding beauty and connection in his subjects. 

During my time in photography, I not only learned how to use a camera, but also how to express myself through images.
