WATER WORKS
Why must we act now to protect our water supply?
Third graders will engage in a critical investigation of the importance of clean freshwater around the world and the impact of pollution on water through understanding 1. Access 2. Demands on water, and 3. Water pollution. To communication the importance of clean freshwater around the world, students will create persuasive video PSAs about one of the water issues. Students will hold a Water PSA Live Launch Presentation in which they will write letters inviting guests and deliver a presentation outlining why this issue is important to them and the process they followed to create their PSA before unveiling their PSA for the first time.
