Final Project
What was the intended function of your box and how does the design contribute to the function.
My Intended design was to have a box with a pyramid top to hold pencils.
Describe how it is meeting the functional goals.
My box meets the intended functional goals very well.
Describe how your form contributes to the overall function.
The box is 1 foot long and 3 inches tall creating a perfect form for pencils.
Describe one thing you are most proud of about the box itself.
Describe one thing about your physical box you would improve on if you could do it again.
If I could do my box again I would sand the sides down more.
What is one challenge you faced while doing this project that you were able to overcome and how did you overcome it?
I had to overcome the challenge of my lid not fitting once i glued the sides on, I overcame it by Sanding down the sides of my lid with a spindle sander to create a snug fit.
What is one skill that you learned so well in this project that you would feel comfortable teaching it to another student?
I would feel comfortable teaching another student how to use the bandsaw because, even though I knew how to use it previously this project made me more confident with it.
Even though everyone ended with their own project, how did teamwork/collaboration play a role in this project? Offer specific shout outs to acknowledge those who helped you.
I shout out Victoria, and Eve for having very unique boxes because they pushed me to want to do more with my box.
Electronic/Prototypes
The 3d carboard model is a prototype and shows what we need to change for our final project because it had to be constrained the same ways. If I were to do it again I would have made the drawing on top more simple and easy on the eyes.
This is my final prototype working with the code and I name the hardware.
This video shows how the coding and hardware work together to create a interactive cornhole experience even just in the prototype.
This is the final product in action. This video shows all of the electronical hardware and software working together, overall I think the board works quite nicely and is a good representation of our work towards it.

Infinity Mirror
We are working on this project to improve our skills all around, in class we researched infinity mirrors and did many drawings of how ours could look.
For this project we will need to us the materiels given to us with our knowledge of tools and software, one struggle I will have is coding because I am not the best at it yet but hopefully this project will help me grow that skill.
This is the outline of our project and we will work alone, we can choose the physicaL aspects of our board along wit the led pattern the board will have.
I combined my 3d printed box with my burned out acrylic to create my infinity mirror prototype. The prototype taught me to enlarge some dimensions and that my led light patterns work inside the mirror.
My prototype works exactly how the final project could work except it helped me learn what I need to change. In this image I have my 5th pattern a rainbow chase to show the illusion.
FINAL PRODUCT.....
My final design is a cross with 5 different patterns. I was inspired to choose a cross and it fit within the constraintd. If I could change one thing about my final product I would have applied the film days before the deadline because it didnt have much time to dry and adhere, therefor wrinkled a little. I feel like this project grew my understanding of a set goal and there were alot of contraints to work around, it was also more software heavy rather than the cornhole boards which were more tools based. Another thing I learned was how to be less dependent on a partner since it was a solo project. Overall I really enjoyed this project.
