Empowerment Conference

We chose a topic we were passionate enough to speak about and empower an audience with. We are required to use Pathos, Logos, and Ethos to get our points across.

ELA Student Book

In class I am writing a book that can be about whatever i'd like and it will be 60 pages. I am writing a book that is about a girl struggling with her mental health and going down the wrong path during her senior year of high-school.

Culture Project

The society my group and I made is called the Meeniae. We were required to create a government, religion, language, and factors of the society and culture. The Meeniae is a matriarchal communist oligarchic society.

AP World History

Eastern & Western Hemisphere Cooking Project

My side in this project was the western hemisphere. The objective was to trade food between the eastern and western hemispheres and cook a dish with what we had. The western hemisphere decided to make nachos, but the cheese we got from the eastern hemisphere brought disease and one of our teammates were eliminated.

Chemistry/Art (Chemvas)

Science Fair

My topic was What Acetaminophen Works the Fastest? My partner and I used water that was the temperature of bodily fluid (37 degrees celsius) to dissolve our chosen acetaminophens in. The fastest dissolving acetaminophen was Benadryl, which means it'd be the acetaminophen to spread through the body fastest.

Textile Art Investigation (will add pictures soon)

To start off the ionic and covalent bonding unit, we made friendship bracelets. We learned different techniques before creating our bracelets, Along with the bracelets are kind messages, mine said "You are Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!"

We created baskets using recycled news paper and cardboard.

We made paper from paper pulping. We took sheets of paper and blended them with water. Next, we strained the paper pulp, waited for it to dry to then create new paper.

Our final project of the unit is to take from what we learned and create a new recycled and useful innovation. I'm making a journal and the cover will be made of paper pulped paper.

Viajes Proyecto

I chose somewhere that I'd like to travel in the future and I basically created a brochure for Rio. I included tourist attractions, different foods, and even historical sights in Rio.

Proyecto de La Música

I explained orally different scenarios where different kinds music should and shouldn't be played. I also gave music recommendations and compared/contrasted alternative and rap music.
