ChemVAS Typography

I learned how to do online projects. Throughout this project I used texture, value, and symbols that represents chemistry and art. Using these letters helped me stretch my mind with creativity. This project was very fun to make I liked how using all the different colors.

"It's All Elementary"

This assignment is called “It’s All Elementary” in this project I had to learn about the element hydrogen and answer questions on the  element. My picture on the left is something where you can fing hydrogen. My sketches were dry ice, dragon breath which food, and the sun. I chose my final drawing to be the sun. Somethings that were difficult in the assignment were finding the answers to all  the questions, and something that went well was getting through the task without getting an incomplete in the grade book. Next time I will search more for the answers on questions.

Artist statement

Deeply Rooted was a whole grade level project for 2nd quarter, which sought to answer how symbols can reflect cultural differences and similarities. We researched the use of symbols around the world and came up with our own symbols that reflect our modern lives. In Art class we created hand made paper and Borax crystals which we used to make symbols. I chose to make a butterfly and a star, which symbolizes how I want peace and positivity and, being bright and making something out of my life. Bending the paper was difficult and next time I would like to make it bigger and possibly add more color contrast to make it noticeable int the PBL. On the day of the showcase, our work was featured alongside performances representing cultures around the world.
