In my free time, I have always gravitated towards activities that involve strategy and competition, as I find them both challenging and exciting. Additionally, I have a deep curiosity about the world around me and am constantly seeking new experiences and discoveries to expand my knowledge.
To pursue these interests, I have participated in engineering projects which have enhanced my abilities in a variety of ways. Even today, these pursuits remain a source of inspiration and fulfillment for me, driving me to continue learning and growing.
My primary extracurricular is my work in Georgia Tech's LIDAR Lab through the Project ENGAGES program. I started working in this lab in 2021 and through this work have created an Adaptable Gripper for Complex Tasks, which has applications in disaster relief, automation systems, and a variety of movement-based situations. This work has strengthened my love for studying robotics, in both their applications and how they are made, and I plan to present this work at the International Science Fair through my gold-medal qualification in the District-level fair. I was awarded the Naval and Air-force awards for my presentation of this work in the State science fair.
Robotics and Science are very important to me, and I am grateful for the amazing opportunities my proficiencies and experiences in the subjects have afforded me. To this end, I created a Coding Club at Drew to teach kids the lessons about coding that I wish I'd known at their age. In this, I am able to impart wisdom, knowledge, and practical technological skills which empower more young people like me and support my passion for technological communication and literacy.
I have volunteered with numerous organizations that help people across the globe through education or even providing simple necessities needed for survival.
I am a leader on Drew's Men's Tennis team. I compete in the Singles Division and am proud to represent my school, play among a hard-working team, and build my skills in leadership and teamwork through sports.
In summary, my diverse range of interests and experiences have led me to pursue opportunities in engineering, robotics, science, education, and sports, all of which have contributed to my personal growth and development as a well-rounded individual.
